Do you have Jesus' calling card?
I was watching a movie the other day called "the Perfect Stranger". Great movie if you get a chance to see. Was on TBN. As I watched the end of the movie, God gave me a little message. Do you have Jesus' calling card?
Just as you get business contact in your job, Jesus gives us an everlasting contact when we accept Him as our Savior. As we try to keep those contact updated and in order, so should we keep our Jesus contact updated. This requires going in to our secret place and touching base with Him spiritually to keep up to date with His will for us.
The key scripture for this thought is Rev. 3:20 and thinking how those business contacts want us to contact them whenever we have a need. John tells us in this scripture that Jesus so much more wants us to have his calling card and know that He is knocking when we need Him.
Rev. 3:20 - Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. KJV
