It's in the Blood

Ever been hurt playing sport and start bleeding? Man that is a yucky site. You look down and see blood...yuk you think. Just think what God was feeling when He looked down and saw His blood being shed from Jesus. He was hurting but He was rejoicing as well. He knew it was over and death could no longer have a hold on us.

The Blood is what we are all saved by. The devil was having a party with his deamons because he thought it was over. This man who called Himself the Son of God was dead and coming in the ground. Satan thought it is all mine but then 3 days later when the Blood got to hell, he was in for a suprise. The blood covered and Jesus arose with a thunderous roar.

The devil forgot to read the front of the book. In Genesis chapter 4 we here the story of Cain and Able. The blood covering story that would last forever. Able had to ber killed on Cain's land, his blood shed on Cain's soil. This was so that he could not work his land anymore it was cursed. So it is with the devil that when Jesus' blood covered the earth it was cursed and the devil was sentence to face wandering around about the land with no home until God's glorius return when he is placed in eternal hell.

The Blood covers us and if we accept that and Jesus as our savior we have so much to look forward to. We can live each day with joy and look forward to what the next day will bring.

WVU cut short in the draft!

WVU was left out in the cold by NFL teams around the county. Only one Mountaineer was drafted and he was not even the best player available. Alton McCann was taken in the 6th round (179) by the Detroit Lions. This left Jahmile Addae and Mike Lorello looking for free agent contracts when they were much better than McCann. This also leaves in question the developement of WVU's football team.

Looks like they are good to play in college but the talent is not being developed for the next level. Compared to the Buckeyes, my favorite team, they ar eway behind in NFL skills as no less than 9 OSU players were selected. Including 1st round picks AJ Hawk (5), Donte Whitner (8), Bobby Carpenter (18), Santonio Holmes (25) and Nick Mangold (29). Now thats developing talent for the next level.
